The Battle of Brandywine took place in four different locations Chadds Ford,Township,Pennsylvania,and the United States.The commanders of the Continental army were George Washington,Nathanael Greene,John Sullivan,Lord Stirling,Adam Stephen,Anthony Wayne,Casimir Pulaski,Moses Hazen.The Commanders for the British army were Sir William Howe,Charles Cornwallis,Wilhelm Knyphausen. There were 1,300 people on the Continental army 300 were killed 600 were wounded.There were 587 people on the British army 93 were killed and  488 were wounded.The Battle of Brandywine ended with the British army winning.This battle should be remembered because people were risking there lives not knowing if they would win or lose.
